Acting as part of the senior management team, we can -

• Monitor ongoing GAAP/IFRS/SEC/Private Company Council accounting standards setting and determine the optimal response/approach for the organization

• Develop and improve the budgeting process

• Implement techniques such as zero based budgeting

• Identify & evaluate capacity constraint solutions

• Improve the organization’s rolling forecast capabilities and integrate forecasting with long-term planning

• Transform all cost accounting practices and procedures to “state of the art” best practices​

• Lead internal audit, due diligence and fraud investigations​

• Lead audit preparation and interaction, and manage the overall relationship with auditors

• Be an independent arbiter/advocate for accounts receivable and accounts payable issues

• Perform business risk mapping

• Lead disaster recovery planning and testing

• Advise the company on leveraging tax code revisions to the company’s advantage

• Represent the company and respond to any tax inquiries

• Professionally represent the company and manage external relations with investors, board of directors, and regulators

• Maintain relationships with outside professionals and provide direction for them

• Provide financial guidance on negotiation and contract strategy for customer, financing, leasing, labor, and supplier transactions

Treasury, Banking & Investment Management
Acting as part of the senior management team, we can -

• Forecast and manage corporate cash flow

• Optimize working capital through effective management of fixed assets, inventories and reduction in the working capital cycle

• Identify cash investment instruments that optimize income and liquidity

• Function as the primary point of contact for representatives from financial institutions

• Setup, document, monitor and discontinue automatic payments and EFT

• Select, implement and manage point-of-sale, online, merchant credit card, lock box collection, and other customer payment solutions

• Direct compliance with all loan and bond covenants

• Hedge foreign currencies, commodities, and interest rates to maximize company profitability

• Optimize the organization’s dividend level

Accounting & Finance Team Leadership
Acting as part of the senior management team, we can -

• Motivate and lead a high performance accounting & finance team; set an organizational structure and supporting cast capable of taking the organization to the next level; attract, recruit, and retain required members of the accounting & finance function and leadership/management team not currently in place

• Provide overall supervision of the accounting & finance team and all accounting and financial functions

• Develop the financial capabilities and professional competencies of the organization

• Lead performance evaluation and career/succession planning for the accounting & finance team

• Provide regular coaching, mentoring and counseling on management issues
